Amber Bliss, MS, LCMHC

My name is Amber Bliss and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Greensboro, NC. I completed a Masters in Science in Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University in 2020. My Bachelor in Arts in Psychology was pursued at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. I have been licensed as a counselor from the North Carolina board since 2020.

I opened Woven Together in 2024 (with the help of my incredible support system) with the vision of creating a safe and inviting space for individuals from all different walks of life.

Our mental, physical, and spiritual health are all connected which is what Woven Together means to me. We are all created with a God-given purpose and it is important to tend to all aspects of your health and wellness.

My specialties include working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression. My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy. If it aligns with your values and is your preference, we can incoportate faith-based counseling.

My approach is to walk with you through your hardest moments and give you tools and strategies to manage those moments easier. You don’t have to do life alone!

Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy going to the beach, completing jigsaw puzzles, going on walks and spending time with my husband and our dogs.

Madelyn Pemberton

Madelyn Pemberton is a clinical intern at Woven Together and is currently pursuing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She has obtained two Bachelor degrees from Liberty University in Counseling and Developmental Psychology.

Some of the most wonderful parts of life- marriage, family, parenting - can also bring about the most challenge. It can be difficult to process and conquer these challenges on your own. Whether you’re navigating the complexities of marriage, the transitions of postpartum with a new baby, or the impact of trauma and family dynamics, therapy can be a valuable space to explore, learn, and grow.

For years, Madelyn has worked in multiple social work settings where she had the privilege of learning from individuals with diverse backgrounds and life stories. These experiences have further grown her passion to help couples, families, and adolescents.

In the counseling room, she aims to be empathetic, non-judgemental, solutions-oriented, and collaborative. She uses a holistic approach and integrate modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. If it aligns with your comfort and preferences, she is also happy to incorporate faith-based counseling. She is certified in the Gottman Method (Level One), Trauma-Informed DBT, and I am a SYMBIS Premarital Assessment Facilitator.

Outside of the counseling room, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, reading biographies and psychology books, going on hikes, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
