Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Amber takes insurance plans through Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United HealthCare. Madelyn does not take insurance at this time.
Do you offer video/telehealth counseling?
Yes! Telehealth counseling is a great option for some clients. We are happy to discuss if this is a good fit for you. Research supports the effectiveness of telehealth counseling. It is offered through a HIPAA-compliant platform for clients within the state of North Carolina.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for you and your counselor to meet face-to-face, get to know you more, and determine the path you would like to take.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that if you are going to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours of advance notice. If the cancellation happens within or less than 24 hours of notice, you will be charged a $100 late cancellation fee. If you wake up not feeling well, please know that you can switch to a virtual appointment if you would like.
How do I get started?
Contact us using the contact form on our website, email us or call us! We are happy to answer any other questions you may have. After answering any of those questions and if we are a good fit, we will set up a free 15-minute phone call consultation to discuss the counseling process and next steps.
Are you taking new clients?
Both of our counselors have a waitlist for new clients. This means that their caseload is currently full. Once you contact us, we will put your contact information in our system and contact you when they have an opening. Contact us now to be added to one of our counselor’s waitlist.
